Help Our People Eat

H.O.P.E. is a non-profit that provides mobile meal and produce distribution to underserved communities in Winston-Salem. Distribution sites are primarily located in “food deserts”- defined as low-income, often underserved area with limited access to affordable, nutritious, and fresh food, typically lacking supermarkets or grocery stores.

What can you expect at a distribution site? We offer both prepackaged lunches and produce bags. The lunches consist of a sandwich/entrée, fruit, a healthy baked treat and either milk or bottled water. The produce is distributed in pre-packed bags of 5-6 fruits and veggies.

We currently distribute nearly 1,500 meals and over 2,500 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables each weekend we operate!
